Booking, Payment & Cancellation Policy
Booking Confirmation
Your booking is confirmed once payment has been received or once you have received a confirmation from Lapland-Rides via email or WhatsApp. Once confirmed, we reserve the requested vehicle and driver exclusively for your journey.
Payment Methods
We offer several convenient payment options:

- Cash
- Secure Payment Link
- Bank Transfer (by prior agreement)
All prices are quoted in Euros (€) unless otherwise stated.
Secure online payment by payment link is available upon request. Payment links are processed securely through our payment service provider.
Prices
Unless otherwise agreed, all prices are fixed and confirmed before the journey begins. The confirmed price includes the agreed private transportation service with no hidden fees or unexpected surcharges.
Any additional stops or services requested during the journey can be arranged with the driver. If any additional charges apply, they will always be agreed with the customer in advance.
Cancellation & Booking Changes
We understand that travel plans can change.
Bookings may be cancelled free of charge at any time before the scheduled pickup.
We are happy to accommodate booking changes whenever possible, subject to availability.
If Lapland-Rides is unable to provide the confirmed service, a full refund will be issued.
Refunds will be processed using the original payment method whenever applicable.
Force Majeure & Operational Delays
Lapland-Rides shall not be held liable for delays, changes or cancellations caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather conditions, road closures, traffic accidents, government restrictions, strikes, vehicle breakdowns, or other unforeseen events.
Travel times are estimates and may be affected by weather, road conditions or traffic. We will always make reasonable efforts to complete the journey safely and as efficiently as possible.
If a flight is significantly delayed or another circumstance beyond our control prevents us from providing the confirmed service, Lapland-Rides reserves the right to cancel the booking or, where possible, arrange an alternative vehicle or driver through a trusted partner. Any additional costs will be communicated and agreed in advance where applicable.
Flight & Train Delays
If your flight or train is delayed, please inform us as soon as possible.
We monitor flight arrivals whenever flight details have been provided and will always do our best to adjust the pickup time whenever reasonably possible.
We include up to 60 minutes of waiting time after the scheduled pickup at no extra charge. If a longer wait is required, an additional waiting fee of €60 per hour (or part thereof) will apply, subject to driver availability.
Our Service
Lapland-Rides provides pre-booked private transportation services across Finnish and Swedish Lapland.
We also offer personalised travel assistance and local recommendations to help travellers plan a smooth and memorable Lapland experience.
All transfers are private and operated according to the agreed itinerary.
Child Seats
Child seats and booster seats are available upon request. Please let us know your requirements when making your booking.
A fee of €10 per child seat or booster seat applies unless otherwise agreed.
Privacy Policy
Lapland-Rides respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data.
When you contact us through our website, email, phone or WhatsApp, we collect only the information necessary to respond to your enquiry, manage your booking and provide our services.
Personal information is never sold or shared with third parties except where required to process payments, comply with legal obligations or provide the requested service.
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with legal obligations.
